MOBILE APP PRIVACY POLICY

SmartViser (“we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the “Application”).   Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. 

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THE APPLICATION.

 

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Application after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted. 

 

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the third-party online/mobile store from which you install the Application or make payments, including any in-game virtual items, which may also collect and use data about you. We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.

Collection of your information: Mobile Device Data

We may collect information about your device to ensure the usability of the Application. The information we may collect via the Application is limited to the identification of your device (UDID) and date, time of the Application usage. This information is deemed relevant to ensure that our Application is being used in accordance with the terms of the Usage Agreement. You agree not to block, electronically or otherwise, the transmission of data required for compliance with the Usage Agreement.

 

Additional data are also collected by the Application such as model, and manufacturer, version of your operating system, and any other data monitored during Application execution. Additional Data are transmitted when you choose to do it and are located in your dedicated data room without any access granted to SmartViser unless you decide to do so.

Crash Log and Diagnostic Data

 

To improve the reliability, stability, and quality of the Application, SmartViser may collect crash logs and diagnostic data when the Application crashes or experiences a technical failure.

 

Crash log and diagnostic data may include:

 

* device manufacturer;
* device model, model_id;
* screen characteristics;
* memory size;
* storage size;
* timezone;
* processor count and frequency;
* chipset;
* operating system version;
* system build number;
* kernel version;
* Application version;
* user name
* crash timestamp;
* technical crash information, such as stack traces, error codes, thread information, and failure context;
* internal Application context necessary to help SmartViser developers understand and resolve the crash;
* technical configuration or state information related to the Application at the time of the crash.

 

Crash log and diagnostic data is collected only for the purpose of identifying, analysing, reproducing, and resolving Application crashes, improving Application stability, and providing technical support.

 

Crash log and diagnostic data is not used for advertising, profiling, or unrelated analytics.

 

The crash log server is owned and managed by SmartViser. Crash logs are not sent to a third-party crash reporting provider unless this is expressly stated in a separate notice or agreement.

 

When the Application is first started, the end-user is asked whether they allow the collection of crash log and diagnostic data. The end-user may refuse this collection.

 

The end-user can update this permission at any time after installation from the Application settings, available in the “More” menu.

 

When anonymization is activated by the end-user, crash log and diagnostic data collection is automatically switched off.

 

SmartViser applies data minimisation principles to crash log and diagnostic data. SmartViser aims to collect only the technical information reasonably necessary to understand and resolve the crash. SmartViser does not intentionally collect personal content through crash logs.

 

Crash log and diagnostic data is retained as long as necessary to investigate a specific technical issue.

Use of Google Data

The viSer application uses Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services solely to send emails as part of its operation. When this functionality is used, we receive an authorization token from Google to perform the action. No personal or sensitive data is retained by SmartViser during this process.

Furthermore:

No data accessed via Google APIs is stored or persisted.

No data collected is shared with any third parties.

The authorization token is used solely for the purpose of sending an email and is discarded afterward.

We follow Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Use of your information

Having accurate information about your device permits us to enable usage of the Application

You hereby declare that according to this agreement, you allow SmartViser to collect this information, which was obtained by SmartViser during normal business activity, and which may be deemed private in nature.

Disclosure of your information

SmartViser will not redistribute or provide to any third party personally identifiable information collected in this process, unless ordered to do so by an authorized third party, such as the court.

Security of your information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.
